The project · Colleferro
From the logistics hub roof to energy for the business.
GALILEO S.P.A. is investing in self-generated renewable energy with a photovoltaic system on the roof of its Colleferro logistics hub and a storage system to support self-consumption.
The system will be installed at the logistics hub in via Domenico Perfumo 29, Colleferro (Rome), with 1,036 photovoltaic modules of 580 W. Storage will allow part of the energy produced to be kept and used at times other than solar production.
GALILEO operates in the household products sector. The Colleferro hub handles logistics and distribution for the SATUR store network, with consumption also linked to goods handling and to charging electric vehicles.
Aims of the project
- 01
Self-generate
Increase the electricity produced from renewable sources.
- 02
Use it better
Support self-consumption through photovoltaics and storage.
- 03
Reduce the impact
Reduce energy costs and the emissions associated with energy drawn from the grid.
Financial support
A project supported by Europe and the Lazio Region.
Project co-funded by the European Union under the ERDF Regional Programme Lazio 2021-2027 (PR FESR Lazio 2021-2027), public call “Energia Solare per le Imprese” (Solar Energy for Businesses).
