35,000 sqm Logistics
The company’s logistics, carefully planned and set up in 2011, can support its large sales volumes. The warehouse, located in Colleferro, offers a 35,000 sqm logistics centre, 55,000 pallet spaces, 25 loading and unloading docks and a 35,000 sqm external area. The large spaces, combined with the most modern technologies, ensure efficient and fast transport and deliveries.

500 People
“Success is the result of people’s work”. That is the company’s motto. Galileo is always achieving new and more ambitious goals, thanks to the expertise and commitment of 500 people who work in our headquarters every day. Galileo believes in the benefits of having an ongoing training programme, through which employees gain new experience constantly. The company’s goal is to enhance personal skills and to promote professional growth.

3,500 sqm Showroom
In the heart of our headquarters lies the 3,500 sqm showroom, strategically conceived and containing more than 18,000 products to ensure customers, suppliers and agents a 365-day experience of our products. Design, space division, mixture of colours and materials: nothing’s left to chance.

12,000 Products
Galileo has more than 12,000 products in its entire collection. High quality materials, design and colours are the hallmark of every Galileo product.
1.2 MWh Produced energy
Galileo strongly believes in environmental sustainability. Galileo S.p.A. has also adopted a Green Philosophy: in 2012, Galileo officially opened two photovoltaic plants in its headquarters and in the warehouse. The system produces 1,240,000 kWh annually and avoids the emission of 765 tons of CO2. This is the equivalent of 76,500 trees, 6.6 million kilometres in a car or the annual energy consumption of 128 apartments with a surface area of 100 sqm.
A new photovoltaic system with storage is planned at the Colleferro logistics hub (600.88 kWp), co-funded by the ERDF Regional Programme Lazio 2021-2027 (PR FESR). Discover the project

Certifications
Galileo is all about compliance with regulations and environmental awareness. We do our best every day to offer safe products. All of them comply with EU directives on food contact suitability, electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility, etc. All certifications are issued by institutes with national, international and European authorisation. Just to list some of the most important institutes we work with every day: SGS, Intertek, TUV, Apave CPM, Nemko, Istituto Ricerche Prove Analisi, Firenze Tecnologica, Bureau Veritas and Dekra, and the experimental zooprophylactic institutes of Lombardia, Emilia Romagna, Puglia and Basilicata.

Since 1993, the CE marking has been the manufacturer’s declaration that the product meets the requirements of the applicable EC directives.

The FOOD marking, referring to EC Regulation n. 1935/2004 and 31/2005, certifies that the product is suitable for contact with food products.

The RoHS marking refers to Directive 2002/95/EC: it proves the product’s conformity and restricts (with exceptions) the use of six hazardous substances in the manufacturing of various types of electronic and electrical products: Lead, Mercury, Cadmium, Hexavalent chromium, Polybrominated biphenyls, and Polybrominated diphenyl ethers.

The RAEE (WEEE) symbol indicates the proper disposal of electrical and electronic waste, using the best available techniques and through authorised recycling centres in compliance with the “RAEE Decree”. The disposal process has different stages: securing or remediation, removal of hazardous components, disassembly of sub-assemblies, preliminary separation of materials and mechanical processing for material recovery.

This logo indicates membership of the ecoR’it consortium, which manages the recovery of waste electrical and electronic equipment (RAEE) throughout the country.
